Fall Fun - Monkey Butt Pumpkins

 When it came time to go to a pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins, we ran down to our favorite place. They have a fantastic variety. We wandered around and picked out our carving pumpkins, then took a look at the gourds. I love an interesting gourd.

There were a few gourds, however, that I thought were fabulous but didn't buy any. There is a really, really good reason why.

This is why...

Do they not look exactly like a baboon butt?

Okay. I almost posted a picture of a baboon butt. I looked at about ten of them before I decided that it would be too much for the delicate eyes of my readers. If you really want to see some monkey butts, just google it.

So, these gourds made me laugh a lot. But I couldn't picture them on my front porch.

They also sort of look like the gourd insides exploded out the bottom.

Either way...
